This Frock Coat is perfect for so many eras - for the Ravishing Pirate, the arrogant Libertine, the silent and sexy Cassanova , the dangerous Highwayman, a Restoration or Rococo Dandy, the Renaissance Man, or the staid and Classy Colonial Gentleman....this versatile Frock covers them all in a well made to last costume coat!!!! This Frock Coat is also perfect for your period wedding - making for a dashing Groom! Or better yet - buy it just for yourself!  A great gift and a suave jacket for any occasion!

Jacket is made from lightweight Polyester blend material in Jet Black suiting with just a hint of a sheen for a nice contrast. It is also fully lined in medium weight Dark Navy color satin  lining . Cuffs are silky Jet Black velvet and trimmed in nice gold trim for a finished look. Front of jacket has faux button holes in gold scrolled trim and  front of jacket has large gold engraved buttons to complete the look. Vest and Jabot are not  included but can be purchased in my store.

This is a fantastic and versatile pattern to sew from.  Jacket is sewn to fit nicely at the  shoulders and carefully hang down the waist and hips to a slight flare at the hem. A very flattering style!  Also, Poly-type material makes for hardly any wrinkles for a nice wear! Frock is not meant to be done up but has a gap in the front - this gap is INCLUDED in the measurements given below.
