Pioneer Classic CTF7171 Cassette Deck - Spares/Repairs Sold as Seen. I hate to use the word classic, but this is the really nice cassette deck that Pioneer made in the early to mid 1970s. It's the one with the tape loaded in an illuminated bay and with very nice big meters, it looks great with the lights on in a darkened room, but I couldn't get a decent shot of it. However, as it says above it is sold as faulty, basically there is a signal coming through in playback that shouldn't be there. I suspect this is the record/play switch. There may be other faults too, so it's best to assume the worst. The tape mechanism does run. There are also some scratches to the cabinet one big one to the wood and quite a few to the top of the silver front plate, please bear this in mind. Also it's heavy, certainly a far better made item than their later efforts.
