Amazing original condition Ping anser putter.

This is the one that is so sought after by collectors.

It looks rougher than in the picture and has been well used.

The head is evidence of much use but all is very solid and has not been restored in any way.

The grip is original, marked 'traction action Golf Pride made in USA on the top.

On the grip marked 'pro only' and an image of a man putting.

Shaft by true temper - still has red label with 325 by true temper - made in England

Important bits- stamped in cavity 'KARSTEN CO' PHOENIX. ARIZ. 85029.

On the sole- stamped across base of club the words JACK NICKLAUS and SLAZENGER. The club has so much green virdigree on the metal that it is hard to see in the photo.

The stamping of Jack Nicklaus has not been done perfectly with the J being stamped twice. I originally had my doubts because of this but have had the club checked out at Walton Heath and St Enedocs in Cornwall and have been given assurance that the club is genuine, and that this often happened because it was originally done with stamp and hammer.

I have not seen one of these clubs on any auction site and have been told that these have changed hands in America for between 1,500 and 4,500 dollars.
