Pilkingtons Royal Lancasrtian Lustre Vase decorated by Gordon Forsyth.

The vase has aa beautiful crisp firing with a good lustre. The glaze is even and uniform and there is a beutiful graduaation of colour from yellow down to green. Between the tree emblems there are heraldic shields decorated with winged dragons. The vase is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration, just very light crazing. measuring 17cm high it is marked to the base with Gordon Forsyth's emblem and his date cypher for 1908/9
