Pilgrim Progress Pedal HarpIncludes travelling covers and trolleyPlease PHONE 01342 850594 for any questions or to discuss an offer. This instrument is not only a cheap pedal harp for learning on but is brilliant for anyone doing concerts needing an easily transportable harp for rehearsals, concerts, ensembles etc - it fits into a BMW estate so you don't need a Volvo. It's lighter weight than the full size concert harps so you can manage it easily alone and you won't break your back moving it. Taking it upstairs becomes possible. Lumping full size concert instruments around in the back of a car is heavy and more risky than we like on a regular basis - and this instrument solved that problem when our son was having to go to fortnightly rehearsals of the International Harp Ensemble. On the trip to France, it went in the van easily and increased transportability reduces the risk of accidents and damage. The instrument is around 10 years old and the sound has matured with regular playing. It's in the less usual dark wood which goes well in a house with old mahogany furniture rather than those light IKEA coloured things that scream in a traditional environment.

What's more, they often develop structural defects - you can see the following ancient Erard opening up at all the joints:
