Victorian Crochet Edge

Size: Length:  96.2cm.  Widest width to point of diamond: 14cm

Material:  Cotton 

Colour:  White

Age:  I am hopeless with materials so forgive me!  I think it is Victorian, as it belonged to my grandmother.  I am currently selling and will be selling other pieces of her linen.  This piece, I believe came from a small tablecloth originally.  I think the intention was to use for pillow edges. 

Design:  Thin bridgework, then plain wide margin below which are crochet diamond shapes.

Condition:  Top edge above bridging frayed and side margins frayed.  Half way along white plain margin faint stain.  Crochet work sound, no tears or damage. GC
