PicoPSU 90w Internal PSU

The PicoPSU-90 is the smallest snap-in 12V ATX DC-DC power supply. The PicoPSU-90 is compatible with an entire range of mini-itx motherboards as well as many regular boards. The PicoPSU-90 provides a cool, silent 90 watts of power for small PC designs requiring just a single regulated 12V power source to operate.

  • Very small (even smaller than the PicoPSU-120), allowing you to build ultra-compact PC enclosures and slim server enclosures
  • Fits almost any motherboard equipped with a 20 or 24pin ATX connector
  • 100% silent, highly efficient design. Fanless (does not produce a lot of heat), no moving parts - great reliability
  • Requires a regulated 12V external power supply (not included). Connection via a 5.5mm x 2.5mm DC barrel chassis socket 
  • Plugs directly into the motherboard ATX connector and has a P4, PATA and SATA connector for an entire range of peripherals
  • Ideal for low power Intel D201GLY, D945GCLF, D945GCLF2 as well as all VIA C3/C7 motherboards

Maximum power on each rail: 5V @ 6A, 5VSB @ 1.5A, 3.3V @ 6A, 12V @ 6A, -12V @ 0.05A  -  Total load should not exceed 90w, peak load should not exceed 60 seconds.

At maximum loads, forced air ventilation is required. For fanless operation de-rate the output of the 3.3 and 5V rails by ~20%.

Power Input: Requires a regulated 12v DC external PSU of sufficient capacity (not included). If your system requires 60w of power then you will need a 60w (5 amp) regulated external PSU to power it. I have suitable 12v regulated power supplies of up to 80w (6.67 amp) available to purchase elsewhere in my shop. The PicoPSU-90 requires a good quality 12v regulated supply to work well - it is not suitable for in car use or running off a battery and will either refuse to start or shut down if the input voltage is not regulated. Suitability: These power supplies are generally not suitable for powering a full size / gaming PC - they are designed to drive Mini-ITX or other low power boards with a standard ATX power connector. The PicoPSU-90 has a removable P4 and Molex / SATA cable harness if you do not require them. PSU weighs just 45 grammes with harnesses, 20 grammes without.
