We accept Visa/Delta/Electron, MasterCard and Switch/Solo, PayPal and cheque.

If you pay using credit card or paypal  we will ONLY ship to the registered address of the cardholder/Paypal account holder, with NO EXCEPTIONS.

We also accept payment by Cheque. Please note that cheques can take up to 10 working days to clear.

Shipping

Shipping cost & method are stated in the postage information below. This price is inclusive of VAT

For customers paying by credit card, we will only deliver to the cardholders registered address. If you want delivery to a different address then we suggest you pay by Paypal.

We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 5 working days of receiving your cleared funds, but during busy times this may be extended. In practice 80% of all orders are dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your cleared funds. Please also be aware that it will take 10 days for a cheque to clear.

We only deliver to addresses with a UK Postcode so please DO NOT bid if you do not have a UK Postcode as your order will be immediately cancelled.

We want you to be informed of how we will deal with your order in advance, so if any of the above conditions do not suit your requirements then please do not bid.

By bidding or purchasing any of our products, you are entering into a legally binding contract, and are agreeing to the following terms:

Delivery

1.        We will only deliver to addresses with a UK Postcode. Under no circumstances will we deliver outside of the UK.

2.        Your order will normally be despatched within 5 working days (Monday to Friday) of receipt of cleared funds. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear

3.        Where payment is by credit card we will only deliver to the registered cardholders address

4.        Delivery costs are additional (unless specified as “included” in the product description) and the amount you will pay is itemised in the product description

5.        Upon conclusion of the auction or Buy It Now process you will be sent an e-mail with our Checkout instructions.

6.        We only accept the payment methods as described within the product description

7.        Your order will normally be despatched within 5 working days (Monday to Friday) but only after receipt of cleared funds. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear Non Paying Bidders (eBay only)

8.        All auctions and Buy It Now purchases must complete the checkout process within 7 days to:

a)       avoid the item being relisted

b)       avoid an unpaid item strike from eBay

c)       avoid any legal actions as a result of breaking this contract to purchase

General

9.        You are wholly responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered and by placing your order and/or bid you are acknowledging the goods as being suitable.

10.     Many of the photographs used are library images and we are therefore not responsible for any colour variances or style updates. We guarantee to send you the specification as advertised in the product description.

11.     Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery.

12.     Goods purchased for personal use; You have the right to change your mind within 14 calendar days of receipt of your order as per the Distance Selling Act 2000 providing you notify us in writing within 7 days of receiving your item. If you wish to change your mind under the Distance Selling Act 2000 then you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

13.     Claims of damage to goods must be noted at the time of the delivery to the delivery person, and notified to laptopsgoingcheap.com within 24 hours of delivery by e-mail. Failure to do so may render any claim invalid Warranty, Returns & Technical Support. 

14.     For Technical Support issues please also follow instructions as above

15.     Where goods supplied are still under manufacturer’s warranty, then the buyer must exercise the warranty directly with the manufacturer/agent and not laptopsgoingcheap.com. 

16.     Where goods under warranty cannot be repaired they will be replaced by the Manufacturer/agent and not laptopsgoingcheap.com. 

17.     If you have an item covered by a laptopsgoingcheap.com warranty then we are unable to accept the return of goods without prior authorisation. Upon authorisation, we will e-mail you with instructions for the return of goods. 

18.     Item(s) returned without prior authorisation may be refused upon delivery. 

19.     It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure any item(s) authorised for return are sufficiently packaged. Where delivery back to laptopsgoingcheap.com is the responsibility of the buyer, we strongly recommend adequate insurance is in place. 

20.     If an item(s) is deemed faulty within 7 days of receipt, laptopsgoingcheap.com will collect. After 7 days responsibility of return passes to the buyer.
