If you have a shaver with a number similar, I have listed here the sharpener will not work. For example if you have model number 6886XL then it will not work. Norelco/Philips branded for larger retailers a separate model number but identical shaver.

Instructions on use: Reference the picture on this listing. You will need to hold onto the shaver with one hand. Keep the Sharpener, loaded with one blade/head facing out towards the abrasive surface. Then turn on the shaver. It will drive the blades against the abrasive surface. Repeat this process for each blade/head @10 seconds each. Time intervals between sharpening of the blades depends upon several factors including usage of shaver, your beard, and your preferences. Personally I sharpen on a monthly basis just because it is a good way to remember. I will send you a detailed set of instructions, with images, via email before or after the purchase.
