About Us

Commutech have been trading online since 2004 specialising in new, surplus, re-boxed and refurbished telephones for home and business.
We also sell other consumer electronics such as baby monitors, sat nav etc.
We offer quality items at prices far cheaper than the high street and other online retailers.
We also have an online shop which has a greater range of products including spare parts.
Every graded item item is professionally tested in our workshop facility and refurbished as required.

Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage and handling fee only to cover our costs of packing materials, transport and associated labour.
Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment your item will normally be despatched within 48 hours Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).
If there are any specific postage instructions such as holiday notices on the listing or the shop then they will take precidence.
Please allow 5 working days if you are paying by cheque for clearance.
You will receive email confirmation when payment has been received and when your goods have been despatched.
We despatch goods daily via Royal mail and courier.
If your goods are sent via Interlink courier then a seperate email will be sent from the courier company with you tracking details.
We may use other courier services depending upon your location and tracking information is available upon request.

Returns/Warranty

In addition to the warranty given on our goods we offer a 14 day money back guarantee in the event that you are unhappy with your purchase.
We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

To return an item under the 14 day policy the following procedure will apply :-

Email us at support@commutech.co.uk quoting your invoice / item number and the reason for return.
We first try to resolve the problem via email or phone but if this is not possible we will ask you to return the item at your expense.
We can not be held respnsible for goods lost or damage in transit back to us so please make sure you have suitable cover for the item and proof of posting. 
Upon receipt of the item, we will check it and subject to it being complete and in an acceptable condition, issue you with a full credit for the item cost.
Please note we will not refund the carriage charge unless the reason for return is due to our own omission in the listing information or the item is faulty.

Faulty Item Warranty Procedure:-

All items that are not brand new are rigorously tested and inspected before being offered for sale.

In the unlikely event of your item developing a fault during the warranty period the following procedure will apply :-

Email support@commutech.co.uk quoting your invoice number and details of the fault.
If we can not resolve the problem via e-mail or phone then we will request you return the item to us at your expense.
We can not be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit back to us so please make sure you have suitable cover for the item and proof of posting.

Upon receiving the item we will fully test it to identify and confirm the fault. 
Faulty items covered under our warranty will be either repaired or exchanged subject to stock or a full refund, including postage costs, will be offered.
Items found not to be faulty will be returned at the customer's cost or re-stocked, a 10% handling may be deducted from any refund for re-stocking and the carriage costs will not be refunded.
Items found to be damaged by mis-use will not be refunded and will be returned if requested at the customer's cost.
Batteries are covered for 30 days from invoice date.
Please note that warranty is provided by ourselves and not the equipment manufacturer or their agents unless stated otherwise.


Your statutory rights are not affected.
