1. INFORMATION ABOUT GRADED PRODUCTS.

Graded products are on average around 50% less in price than typical High Street/Internet prices. The term graded (also known as factory reconditioned / refurbished / reworked) means the product will have been returned to a manufacturer for one or more of a variety of reasons. Examples of why items are returned can include ex shop display appliances, items returned during the retailers 14 day etc return period, end of line appliances, products that have been returned under the manufacturers warranty, the list of reasons for return being potentially unlimited. In all cases the appliances are then checked, repaired and cleaned (if necessary) by the manufacturer or nominated service agent.

As a graded item, in this case the product has been supplied to us as known to have minor cosmetic markings. We ourselves hesitate to use the word minor cosmetic markings as what the supplier, ourselves and you the customer think of as minor may be different, so to avoid any confusion we will just say this item is known to have cosmetic markings.

It is important to note that graded appliances can contain cosmetic markings and/or signs of previous usage. However bearing this in mind we only use manufacturers, service agents and suppliers whose work in grading appliances and resulting product quality have been vetted by ourselves, and match the high standards we insist on. The appliance that will be sold with this description will literally be the next one off the shelf (so to speak) after purchase has been made through eBay, and only then will the exact condition become known. If this possibility is likely to offend please do not order as we do not wish to cause offence. The product boxes are generally in average condition and can be replaced with a more suitable alternative for transportation purposes.

All the appliances we retail are fully checked by either the manufacturer or their nominated service agent. Owing to the high numbers we retail we are unable to recheck the appliances ourselves before dispatch, instead we confidently rely upon the proven reliability of the manufacturer or nominated service agent. In the unlikely event of a product arriving faulty we will of course happily help by either replacing the item or refunding as necessary.

The eBay description will outline the postage/courier service being used and approximate delivery timescale. However with all parcels we aim to:

A) Include insurance (where possible) in the postage and packing costs.

B) Obtain proof of posting.

C) Dispatch items to either the address provided by PayPal, or if paid by other means the address provided by eBay.

Please note that someone must be available to take in the parcel (and where necessary sign). If a parcel has to be redelivered which results in further costs these must be paid by the customer.

D) WARRANTY AND RETURNS INFORMATION

We guarantee all our products on a return to base basis (either returned to ourselves or our supplier, details of which will be inside the product box) for a period of 28 days, 3 or 6 months (or if indicated 12 months manufacturers warranty…see below for separate conditions) from the date of delivery (see the eBay description for details of the length of the warranty on this product). In order to confirm your guarantee please retain your paid invoice. Please note that fuses, bulbs, descaling related problems, parts designed to wear or be replaced etc are not covered under warranty.

Customers must notify us in writing (by email or post) as soon as is reasonably possible if the goods are received in a damaged condition. Claims provided after a reasonable period of time has elapsed will not be accepted. If upon receipt there is visual damage to the packaging the delivery note must be signed and details about the damage noted on the delivery form. It is recommended if this were the case to open the goods with the delivery personnel present and if further damage is found to the actual goods to refuse to accept the delivery.

In the unlikely event of any product becoming faulty within the first 14 days after delivery you are entitled to a full refund or replacement (if still available). Goods must be returned in their original packaging with all accessories and manuals included. The cost of return will be met by us.

In the unlikely event of a product (except those with a manufacturers warranty) becoming faulty after 14 days of receipt up to the 3 or 6 month anniversary date of receiving the goods the goods must be returned to either our supplier or ourselves (where we in turn will pass the item on to our supplier for inspection/repair/replacement). PLEASE NOTE THE COSTS OF RETURNING THE APPLIANCE BACK TO THE SUPPLIER/OURSELVES AND THEN RETURNING THE APPLIANCE BACK TO YOURSELF ARE YOUR FULL RESPONSIBILITY. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SEND THE APPLIANCE BACK TO OUR SUPPLIER/OURSELVES AT YOUR EXPENSE COMPLETE WITH A CHEQUE COVERING THE FULL COST OF THE RETURN POSTAGE BACK TO YOURSELVES. In addition if it is decided only a refund can be offered, the cost of returning the appliance to yourself will no longer apply, but the cost to you of returning the appliance to us will not be reimbursable.

For those goods indicated as being supplied with a 12 months manufacturers warranty any fault occurring after 14 days of receipt must be notified to the manufacturer using the contact information given on with the product and/or manufacturers UK website and they will advise about repair/replacement. Please note we are not liable for any costs, delivery fees (if any) that may be incurred.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DAMAGE ACCIDENTAL OR OTHERWISE TO THE ITEM IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY.

The consumer has the right to return the goods within seven working days of receiving the goods (this period runs from the day after the day the goods were delivered) and must be notified to us in writing (by email/fax or post). However the goods must be returned to us in their ORIGINAL UNUSED condition, using the original packaging and fully insured and will be at the customers own expense. Any damage caused to the goods will be charged in full to the customer. We will reimburse the customer in full the cost of the goods and the original delivery charge for delivering the goods to the customer in the first place.

In all cases covered by the outlined warranty and returns policy, if collection of the appliance is arranged by us using a courier service you must be prepared to wait in during the specified day for the courier to call. If you are not in when the courier calls you will be charged the full amount of the aborted collection. If you are not prepared to wait in then it is your responsibility to arrange return of the appliance back to us. In addition we are not responsible for the service provided by the courier company.

These warranties do not affect the consumer's statutory rights and are provided in addition to them.
