Antique Pewter plate - 8.1/4" diameter. Has touchmarks on base for Francis Piggott, Newgate Street London.  Believe he worked from 1738 - 1784.

Also Rose and Crown marks. All rubbed  but legible. Three other smaller impressed marks no longer legible. Also has ' I L ' stamped on base.

Nice original conditionwith old cutlery marks. Some minor  distortion to rim and a couple of small dents on base.
