The top layer is a soft fleece that has an appliqued embroidered rat on it! This fabric costs $14.99 a yard and I've waited all year for it to go on sale! Even so, it's still the most costly fabric I've created my hammocks with. It's just so unique I couldn't resist. I know not all people will be able to afford this higher priced hammock but if you are a person who wants their pet to sleep in pure luxury, then this is the hammock for you.

The bottom layer is a silky, satiny upholstery fabric they use for the finest of couches in luxury suites! It costs $36 a yard! I got a remnant piece shipped in from California! So when your ratties are sleeping at night it's like they are sleeping on satiny sheets, except the sheets are very durable, lol. You'll see what I mean when you receive the hammock. I had a person leave me feedback saying my hammocks were the best that money could buy and I do believe with this one, it's probably true! LOL. No cost was spared in the material fabrics used to create it!

This is a small size pet hammock. The approximate size is 12" x 10". It will hold two male pet rats, or  three to four female ratties. It will comfortably house four to six dwarf ratties. It is completely washable and dryable on cool cycles.

They have two layers, so they can lay on top if they are warm or climb inside if they get cold.  There are four openings to get inside, one on each side, which caters to your small pets natural desire for "hide and peek."
