This is a delightful and rather unusual Jug - Something that stands out as being a bit different. This collectors piece is made by BURLINGTON WARE is stamped undernaeth - Burlington Ware MADE IN ENGLAND ( in black ) "WATCHMAN" Also, there are three seperate impressed type markings on the underside too:

MADE IN ENGLAND / REGD DESIGN / and something else - which I can't make out.

A must buy for any TOBY / Character Jug collector and offered in Excellent condition. It would make an extra special gift or perhaps fit it perfectly with an existing Jug collection you have.

EXCELLENT CONDITION, great colours ... He's a funny rather delightful collectable with loads of character - The best jugs always are! 

- A lovely sized piece with No Cracks or chips or any other damage. ( the glaze is slightly patchy on the hat and there isone pin head sized paint chip at the front - but these NO NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE - I like to be specific and accurate with all descriptions. ) 

Item measures (approx) 9 and 1/4 INCHES from base to the front of his hat and (approx) 6 INCHES from the handle to the front of his belly! Also approximately 5 INCHES at the base.

He boasts a wonderful expression - The face really comes alive, with his bright blue eyes and maroon lips!
