Brand new and unbuilt.

A superb kit with 2 fast build Soviet KV-1 Model 1942.

 Named after a marshall of the Soviet Union - Klementy Voroshilov - th KV heavy tank was the third in a trio of designs in 1938 for a replacement for the T-35. The main features of the tank were a centrally mounted turret containing a 76.2mm  gun and two MG, a driver's compartment at the front with a hull MG position to the left of the driver and a rear mounted diesel engine. The wide tracks helped to reduce ground pressure and the vehicle had good armour protection.  

The KV-1 Model 1942 was a later variant of the KV-1with thicker armour, a cast turret, an improved engine and a better 76mm Zis-5 gun. At the time of the German invasion of the Soviet Union, 500 KV were in service. Although eventually outclassed by the Tiger I in 1942, the KV was subsequently redesigned to house an 85mm gun in the KV-85.

Ideal for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
