A very pretty necklace & earrings set made with Rose Quartz and Sterling Silver ...............
The earrings have Sterling Silver ear wires so for pierced ears only.
The oval pendant is a piece of Rose Quartz.
The overall length of the pendant "dangle" is over 2.5" (7 cm) so lovely with either lower necklines or high neck sweaters.
The necklace measures 17" (43cm) but can be extended by a further 2". The hook & eye clasp is Sterling Silver and very pretty, it features "heart" detail. The extender chain is Silver Plated and is decorated with a Rose Quartz flower and Swarovski crystals.
The pendant is bordered by round Rose Quartz Beads (with really tiny Rose Quartz beads in between) - so they are spaced out but the necklace does not become too heavy). The earrings are just under 1.5" (nearly 4 cm) length and feature small teardrops in keeping with the pendant.
As well as many healing & theraputic qualities, Rose Quartz was traditionally called the "Venus" or "love" stone, said to promote friendship and open the heart to romance - so very appropriate for a gift (even if the gift is for yourself!) DON'T FORGET THAT ROSE QUARTZ IS A NATURAL STONE AND PRONE TO IRREGULARITIES IN COLOUR, SHAPE AND SURFACE TEXTURE - SEE BELOW THE "INCLUSIONS" IN THE PENDANT AND EARRINGS.
