| This necklace & earrings are from the "extra special" category in my shop! Made with a pale green faceted New Jade teardrop pendant and New Jade beads set off with chunky Gold Vermeil beads. Gold Vermeil is fine gold (Minimum 22K) plating on Sterling Silver - so all the richness & luxury of gold but still affordable.
The earrings are petite and so work well with the necklace - made with the same New Jade, Gold Vermeil beads and ear wires (pierced ears only) with the addition of Swarovski Crystals in a toning iridescent shade of green (Chrysophase).
Jade is a protective stone - particularly to the wearer whilst travelling. It also has a tradition as a stone of good fortune. New Jade is a wonderful clear pale green absolutely beautiful against the rich Gold Vermeil.
The beads in between the New Jade are tiny jade beads also. The faceted teardrop pendant measures about 1.5" (4.5 cm)
The necklace measures 17" (43cm) but can be extended by a further 2" as an extension chain has been fitted. The hook and eye clasp is lovely and also Gold Vermeil (note: the extender chain is not Gold Vermeil - just ordinary gold plated).
The extension chain is decorated with more Jade and Crystal - the trademark Costume Drama "dangle"!
The earrings have a drop of just 1" (2.5 cm)
Remember Jade is a natural substance - expect colour differences and markings in the stone.
