I am offering a 3 piece Paragon Teacup, Saucer and Side Plate Trio from England that is in the Morning Rose pattern. The trio is trimmed in platinum/silver on the teacup rim, handle and footed base and on the rim of the saucer and side plate. The teacup has a light bluish and gray rose on the inside with leaves. The rim is scalloped with a beveled Grecian effect going down to the footed base. On the outside of the teacup is a bluish and grey scrollwork design all the way around. The saucer which has a scalloped rim covered in silver has raised sides, tapering down to the center of the saucer, which has a raised circle to keep the cup in place. The saucer is also beveled with the same scrollwork and a single bluish gray rose in the center with leaves. The side plate is scalloped with a silver trim and beveled dipping down to the smooth center. It follows the same pattern of the scrollwork and the single rose with leaves in the center. On the bottom of all three pieces it has a "Coat of Arms, by appointment to her Majesty The Queen, manufacturers of Paragon Fine Bone China England, Reg'D Morning Rose." There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs to these pieces. The teacup measures 3 inches tall, 3 1/4 inches across not including the handle and 1 5/8 inches across the footed bottoms base. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches across and the side plate measures 6 1/8 inches across. This elegant and discontinued trio would make a lovely addition to a Fine Bone China Trio Collection or a Teacup and Saucer Collection. Please see pictures before bidding.
