The Panasonic Toughbook CF27 is a fully ruggardised miltary grade laptop which is dust proof, shock proof, splash proof and much stronger and robust than any other standard laptop - in fact upto 20 times stronger than a normal laptop and can survive accidental liquid spills!

Because of this Panasonic Toughbooks have a variety of applications for use in school , or can be used for example in a kitchen, industrial - or in fact any environment where a standard laptop would not survive or be prone to damage because of its fragile build. Although this has a DVD drive you will need to buy and install a DVD player to play entertainment DVDs (there is no free player available). As this is a low spec CPU to get smooth DVD playback a very resource light programme will be needed.

COSMETICS
Physically these are in the typical condition you would expect a laptop which has been specifically purchased for and used in a rough environment to be in. Functionally they are perfect but pretty they are not.

WARRANTY
This item comes with a 28 day RTB (return to me) warranty. Installed software and consumables such as batteries are not covered by warranty. P&P for returning item(s) should be paid by the buyer and will be refunded once we have tested the item and confirmed the fault.

The courier I use is Initial Citylink, this is specifically because they will not leave a delivery at any other address than the one I tell them to and they will not leave anything without a signature. Therefore delivery will need to be to an address where there will be someone to receive it. I will also ask for a contact telephone number of the delivery address to enable the driver to make contact in the event of a delivery problem.

COMBINING SHIPPING COSTS
I am happy to combine shipping costs on certain multiple purchases up to a certain total weight made in the same weekly Sunday to Thursday run of auctions but not a combination of auctions from 2 separate weeks.

To make it easy for you to calculate how much you may wish to bid I operate a standard formula. The most expensive shipping & handling charge will stand and additionals are discounted by 50%.
E.g. If 3 auctions had S&H costs of £12, £20 & £12 then the combined charge would be £6 + £20 + £6 = £32.
For offshore combined shipping, the higher price would only apply to one so the above would be £6+£35+£6=£47

COLLECTION BY APPOINTMENT
PERSONAL COLLECTION by appointment within 7 days of the auction closing is always welcome. Weekdays between 9.00a.m. and 4.00p.m. are usually fine as long as I know in advance when you wish to call. If you are collecting then payment must be by CASH ON COLLECTION ONLY. I am sorry but I can not entertain 3rd party courier collections.

RETURNS
If you are a consumer (a private individual not purchasing for business use) then for most items you have the right under the Distance Selling Regulations to cancel your purchase at any time in the seven working days beginning the day after receipt of the goods. This right of cancellation does not apply to audio or video recordings or computer software if they have been unsealed. You must notify me in writing (preferably by email or alternatively by letter) to the address given by email of your cancellation.

If you cancel you must take care of the goods while in your possession and return them to me safely at your own expense. I suggest you use a tracked delivery method. If you fail to return the goods you will be charged the direct cost of recovering them from the place of delivery. Your purchase price and the cost of the outbound shipping from me to you will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation.
