Pair Heavy Victorian Sterling Silver Salts

Made in London, by Charles Stuart Harris, in 1899.

A Good Pair of Victorian Sterling Silver Salts.  Made in London, in 1899, by Charles Stuart Harris.  A HEAVY (over nine ounces!) Pair of Circular Salts with Heavily Gadrooned Rims. Made from a very good weight of silver. Both engraved to the front with Gothic initials EAT.     

Condition:

The Marks:  Goof.

The Salts:  Very Good.  No splits or repairs.  One has no dents, the other has one.  Both sit flat.

  • Lion passant
  • Leopards head
  • Date letter d                                        

Height:  Two inches                              4.9cm 

Length:  Three and a quarter inches   8.0cm
