Complete with central bosses of superb porcelain,
hand painted with
floral bouquet and gilding, probably
by Spode.
 
Made to grace each side of a wonderful
fireplace in a very grand
Victorian house.
 
The main construction is solid 
brass.
 
Total weight is 1.8 kg.
 
The mechanism for activating the
wire to the bell is
a solid crank, which is
formed in the main structure.
 
In fantastic condition.
