You are considering a very attractive ancient Greek ceramic painted Kylix from Apulia, dating to around 375 BC.
This beautiful Xenon ware vessel is adorned with amber comma chains and straight lines.
Date: late 4th century BC.
Height: 1 1/4 inches.
Diameter: 4 1/2 inches (with handles).

Function:
A drinking cup.
Manufacture:
A wheel-thrown vase with hand-made handles.
Decoration:
Commas are painted in orange over the black on the lip, between the handles. Beneath the chevrons are bold orange horizontal lines.
Intact; unrestored.
