Peter and William Bateman Georgian Sterling Jug Made at the Bunhill Row Workshop in London, in 1808. An unusual delicate Peter and William Bateman Cream jug. Made by the masters of Georgian silversmithing Peter and William Bateman. With a Bright Cut frieze, reeded rim and handle. Rare to find a jug of this size slightly smaller than the normal Bateman jugs. An attractive engraved decoration runs around the belly of stylised leaf pin priced and engraved. Further pinprick decoration around base and under reeded rim. Scratched to the bottom with the initials S.R. Condition: The Marks: Good. Makers mark rubbed. The Jug: Very good. No Splits, Dents or Repairs. Hallmarks:
