Our Pashminas are extra special combined with the finest silk to give a rich and soft feel.

Origins of Garment

The garment is made from the Tibetan Capra Hicus Goat which produces a warm and exquisite fleece.These sheep migrate along mountains grazing at high altitudes.

History of the Pashmina Shawl

Luxurious Pashmina Shawls were originally worn by Eastern Royalties such as Emperor Akbar.In the west it first became fashionable in 19th century France under the patronage of the Empress Josephine.

The Making of Pashmina

Weaving a Pashmina Shawl is a long and delicate process and requires much careful hand work. Each Pashmina's tassels are individually rolled and knotted by hand.

Compostion of Pashmina

Due to the nature of the product there may be some variation in a Pashmina's composition

* Cashmere 70%
* Silk 30%

All of our pashminas come in a medium size (200cm length x 70cm width)

Washing Instructions

• Hand wash only, rinse normally, dry with care.
• Do not bleach.
• Regular ironing, steam or dry, may be performed at Low setting
• Any dry cleaning solvent other than trichloroethylene may be safely used.
• Do not tumble dry.
