What problems will the part fix ?
This part will fix the most common problem with the PS2 console.
The commons symptoms are grinding / buzzing noises from your console. As a result your console may display Disc Read Error, No Data and Insert PS2 format disc or choppy sound and gameplay.
The laser arm is moved by a metal gear this in turn moves your laser back and forth, the arm is used all the time when your console is in use and as such it wears away with time.
