With every kit purchased you receive a pre-paid voucher which via telephone or internet registration will allow you to book an appointment at one of the many nationwide proguard approved audiologist centres (see tech specs or proguard website for a full list of centres). All you have to do is pop in to your local centre (and there is sure to be one very local to you!). They will professionally take an impression of your ear canal and give it back to you. The impression process takes no-longer than 10 minutes and is totally painless with absolutely no discomfort involved. You then send those impressions off to the proguard engineering department by use of the included stamped addressed mailing package. Within approximately 2 weeks proguard will return to you your very own personalised professional noise attenuating ear plugs. It really couldn't be simpler! The ear plugs are professional in every sense manufactured from tactile soft medical grade silicon they will require very little maintenance however they also include a lifetime warranty to guarantee your investment for life! The magic part of the earplugs is the acoustic filters in use. The filters are calibrated at various snr levels so they will allow the sound to pass through with all the same complexity as how it was originally played but simply at a lower volume to save your delicate ears from the rigours of loud music. It doesn't muffle the sound or distort in anyway they just reduce the sound level to a safer measure. Each proguard earplug kit comes with two choices of filter to suit your listening environment; djs can select the pro level for the highest attenuation while general music enthusiasts can choose the lower level of attenuation if preferred.
