A1 number plates are now a rare & sought after commodity.

When the auction has closed and payment has been received (PayPal or cleared cheque), the process to reassign this plate to you is as follows:
1. A copy of the certificate will be sent to the new owner & at the same time the new owner must decide exactly what name is to be applied as the nominee (please note: if John Smith’s name is on the cars’ V5 document, then John Smith’s name should also be on this V778 retention certificate).
2. The certificate will be sent to the DVLA to have your name added as a nominee. This process takes 2-3 weeks (usually less). The cost of this is £25, which is payable by the winning bidder and should be added to the final selling price. The postage cost of £10.00 should be added also as I will send to DVLA & return the completed certificate to you 1st class recorded delivery.
3. You can then follow the simple instructions on the certificate to have A1 XML assigned to your vehicle.
This is a sound investment, a 5 digit number plate with catchy A1 XML number…. ultimately, a very nice looking number plate.
