ABOUT THE
COACHING DAY
This NOT a magic
carpet to the top of the ladder - nor is it a course to teach
you how to use your equipment. This is a professional in-depth
look at you, and how you are going about your DJ activities from
our Agency Director, a respected dance industry professional
with 25 years experience in the music business as international
DJ, promoter and agent, and professionally trained in coaching
and course leadership.
You will receive
valuable industry and business information to develop your career
as a successful club DJ, details of the steps required maximise
your booking potential and be recognised by the industry as a
professional DJ. We'll give you the tips and tricks from inside
the industry to get you booked and noticed and get you "talking
the talk and walking the walk" of the professional career
DJ.
We'll dispell
the commonly held DJ myths about getting on in the industry,
explain how booking agents really work and the methods they use
to generate bookings and the professional sector operates - the
things established DJ's don't want you to know, and those outside
the industry think they know but get wrong time after time. We
can't guarantee you'll be famous - but we can give you the right
tools for the job, explain the challenges, give you the solutions,
and provide you with the inside knowledge to go out and create
a successful professional career for yourself - the rest is up
to you.

and any accommodation are at your own expense and NOT included
in the cost - we will be happy to recommend a nice B & B
nearby (it's a minutes walk away) or hotels in the area, and
we can happily pick you up and take you back to the hotel or
to and from nearby stations. Lunch provided, and a great
time for general DJ chat and questions
