This is a pretty little vintage French porcelaine wine tasters bowl.
Measuring approx 3 1/3" in diameter it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing.
These are more traditionally silver or other metals, this is the first porcelaine one we have seen. Used for tasting wine the thumb rest sits comfortably in the hand.
The novelty legend on the inside reads "N'ecoute pas les medecins, Faites comme eux buvez du vin". Roughly transalated this means, don't listen to the Dr's, do as they do and drink wine!

Where we have made a serious error in the description we will accept returns including postage. In cases where the item is not suitable we will refund the cost of the item only.
