For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 290 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

In 2007 I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA, this was a great honour, I was also selected as one of only three Judges for the Colliii Awards 2009. Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine.

I have given Xenia the most beautiful mixed race or AA baby skin tones, with a multitude of very subtle blotches and baby blemishes, this kit started out as Caucasian, but with patients I have transformed her into the most beautiful little Black buba. whilst maintaining a beautiful newborn and very realistic soft complexion.  

Xenia  has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface.

 I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to the skin, I have not used texture on this baby, she is still beautifully smooth to the touch.  I have taken some really close shots of  her detailing,

You would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin!

Her lips have been realistically coloured and then sealed with a satin varnish for durability. she has applied  lashes and delicate painted eyebrows to frame her beautiful glass eyes.

Xenia has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits. I still love rooting, but am swaying more towards the painted hair with each baby I create. This cutie has a dark brown shade of hair .

Xenia has a German made *Ruby Hues* doe suede body, with Cotter Pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her so easy and a real pleasure.

She is filled with a combination of baby fat in her Body and faux fleece; which makes her extremely soft and cuddly. her limbs are weighted with ultra granule chrystalight glass beads making her the most life like and balanced babe.
