PRE-COLUMBIAN MOCHE FINELINE w/ WAR PARAPHERNALIA
A different style, the vessel burnt right after the application of pigment creating a unique and exclusive fineline. Decorated with war paraphernalia on the stirrup as Sun symbols right on the elbow of the stirrup.
The body depicts two different battle scenes. The pair have both the wrinkle-faced deities battling fanged beings with elegant, tall head covers in spiky fashion. Downward Andean noses, earspools and intimidating faces. The spikes continue all over the body, with snakes coming from the back.
Wrinkle-faces have a dog on the headdress, from were multiple snakes are coming out, shamanistic meaning. The body shows to be painted all over. The vessel ends with ocean waves at the bottom.
