PRE-COLUMBIAN MOCHE FINELINE OCEAN DEPICTION VESSEL 

Very interesting fineline object.  The stirrup has the Sun in a rectangular fashion, on the neck and elbows of the stirrup.  The body has a reference to the Ocean transportation of goods.  There is a mystical being sitting on top of the raft.  The deity has seven insect wings on its back with dotts as decoration, these wings are coming out of the snake-headed fish that is attached to the headdress.  The face is painted and he has a goblet to its mouth.  The rectilinear dress it is wearing seems to indicate as the being is sitting in a chair with its legs bended.  The dress has tiny circles as decoration.  The raft has two snake heads on the back and one in the front.  It shows small bottles on the inside.  Below the raft there is a pair of legs depicted, as interpreting the movement of the raft is due to those legs.  On the sides the are sting-rays with some kind of arm depiction, hence the transportation of goods in the Ocean.  The second figure is completely different, eventhough the raft and under legs stay the same, the actual being on the ship is very distant from the first one.  Its shown as paddling its way by using a snake-headed stick.  The being is showing both legs and a weapon on his back, the dressing is different too.

Condition:  Some pigment loss, but very good
