This is a PP3 size 200mAh NiMH rechargeable battery

This battery uses the latest "low self discharge" technology (like Sanyo Eneloop etc) making it ideal for occasional use & standby applications. Charge it up & after 6 months there is still 80% of the initial charge remaining & even after 1 year there is still 70% remaining.

 

We believe that we are the only sellers who have a case specifically designed for PP3 batteries, and we will give you one FREE with each PP3 battery you buy from us.

This is a genuine figure, which we have verified with our own testing. This means that they really will out last the majority of other PP3 rechargeable batteries.

 

This is new stock of the latest in battery technology

They can be recharged up to 1,000 times for fractions of a penny each time, all with none of the “memory effects” associated with NiCd batteries.

 

 

 

In response to many questions about the true voltage of these batteries:-

Although these are direct replacements for the 9V PP3 alkaline battery, the actual voltage is 8.4V This is the same for all NiCd or NiMH batteries of this type no matter who the manufacturer is. This is governed by the laws of physics and has nothing to do with the quality of manufacture.

This type of battery is made by connecting 7 smaller rechargeable batteries together, each being 1.2V (7 x 1.2V = 8.4V)

A typical Alkaline battery will drop to around 8.4V when about one third used, the difference between this type of rechargeable and an alkaline battery is that the alkaline battery voltage will continue to drop, whereas the rechargeable battery voltage will remain fairly constant until almost exhausted.

The point of the mini science lesson - don't be put off by the slightly lower voltage, they will still do the job & save you a fortune!
