Siam / Thailand / Japan. Prisoner of war card mailed by British gunner J. Bell at Camp No. 2 (located at Chungkai). Censored by circular seal of Suzuki (1942-1943) and sent to Yorkshire, England. The card was originally printed as a Japanese army fieldpost card with white dove on helmet. However, "Gunji Yubin" (military mail) has been overprinted by "Furyo Yubin" (Prisoner of War Post) in red and a Japanese handstamp reading "Tai Furyo Shuyosho" (Thai Prisoner of War Camp) has been added. Nice item. Shipping and handling is $5.00 worldwide at buyer's risk.
