The timber moisture meter is idel for testing moisture content of boards to a depth of 20mm. A very portable unit with a padded carry case. Can also be used to test for Damp on plastered walls prior to painting.
Use to test for moisture content on any material containing wood and cellulose, wood , paper etc.
The handheld d unit displays the moisture content by LED indication against the % guide.
Moisture content values are different for each wood types, so the tester can be used to assess different wood types including: Elm, Fir, Willow, Eucalyptus, Gmelina, Sandal Wood, White Wax, Maple, Hemlock, Birch, Oak, BassWoodm Balsa Wood, White Fur, Manchurian-tree Wood, White pine, Larch, Red Pine, Chile Pine, Teak, Aspen, Clone & Walnut.
