1985 C 944 Lux 2.5 Oval Dash. Zermat Silver with burgandy full pinstripe. MOT until March 2009.

I have a collection of these 4 cylinder front engine Porsches. I have decided to sell this one as have another car I want to invest in.

I am being very honest and pointing out all the bad points below...even small ones. In fact the car overall is very nice and looks great..also drives well.

Car is nr Norwich..veiwing/collection there.

Description-

Body; Sills are very solid and no rust, there are a few marks here and there- ( this car is a 1986..its now 2008) with a small rust spot to the n/s front wing (see photo) also a small scrape in same place. The car has been repainted at some point in its life- I consider the paint to be a 7 or 8 out of 10 (my opinion), the paint is nice and shiny and overall it looks like a lovely car- which it is. This car has never had any front or rear damage as far as I can tell i.e It has original front and rear body panels with factory stickers in tact.

Interior-

Burgandy pinstripe velour. All good- but showing some signs of age. Passenger seat base part has had a split and reapired with glue (see pic) drivers seat has started show signs of wear. Rear seats have seat belts and no water marks on them (most do as people dont replace leaking sunroof seals I found in my time looking for these cars for myself). Carpets- good. Dash is good.

Electrics: Rear wiper not working- have not investigated. Electric drivers seat- fully functioning, Central locking not working either. Both electric windows work, electric sunroof works, digital clock works and in great shape, demister booster works as does fan and all others as per MOT.

Engine/gearbox/diff

Engine is smooth, so is gear change. Engine needs oil change and has a very small leak from distributor area- needs a new small gasket or tighten possibly.

Wheels/tyres. Are from a 1986 944 Turbo. Tyres at rear have good tread, front will need replacement shortly- but passed an MOT.

Other; chip in o/s from fog lamp lens.

HISTORY: Has some old MOTS and the Proper PORSCHE wallet with SERVICE BOOK and HANDBOOK.

All in all this is a very nice original specification 944. I have spent £££ going up and down the UK looking at abused old rubbish when I was putting my collection together- it all looks good on e Bay- until you get there!
