THE POLL TAX RIOTS - CLASS WAR Consisting of archive footage and home video with voiceover interviews from participants and activists in the anti-poll tax movement and the riots themselves this is now a wonderful piece of social history. Also includes tv news interviews with ANDY MURPHY of CLASS WAR and TOMMY SHERIDAN of the MILITANT tendency (Now SOLIDARITY SCOTLAND). This DVD was encided from an 18 year old video cassette. The colour and sharpness is a little dull and there are some tracking lines at the bottom of the picture on a few occasions but nothing distracting - and really it just all adds to the nostalgia doesnt it? THIS IS SUCH A RARITY. ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TRACK DOWN THESE DAYS IT IS A LOST PIECE OF POLITICAL HISTORY - NEVER SHOWN ON TV, JUST A FEW HUNDRED COPIES OF THIS VIDEO WERE EVER PRODUCED BY CLASS WAR.
