This is a genuine Playmobil loco & so it is solidly built and the motor works well. 

(It says Copyright 1980 Geobra on the base)

 

As can be seen from the Photo it has been painted in a Red and black livery and the windows frames outlined in metalic paint.

Various cosmetic details such as centre buffers, doors and a driver have been added to make it more realistic.

It runs on 45mm gauge track (LGB type).
