This item is a Plastimo Catalytic heater which runs on either butane or propane. It's made of stainless steel which is ideal for use in the marine environment. The overall dimensions of the heater are 13" high (including gas pipe elbow at the bottom), 9" wide and about 3.5" deep. It can be mounted on a bulkhead, or used freestanding with its bracket.

It's very simple to use; switch on the gas at the bottle,  hold in the buttonon the heater  for about 10 seconds to let some gas come through, light with a taper and then hold in the button for a further 20 seconds or so until the thermocouple is activated, then release the button, sit back and enjoy the warmth! You don't need an external flue. I found it very cosy and economical to run.
