PIETRO PSAIERS LIFE IS SURROUNDED BY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MYSTERY BUT ALL SHOULD BE REVEALED THIS YEAR AND NEXT IN A FILM ABOUT HIM WHICH HAS JUST PREVIEWED AT CANNES AND A PROMISED BIOGRAPHY WHICH IS BEING PUT TOGETHER TO BE RELEASED SOMETIME OVER THE NEXT 12 MONTHS.

 

HE WAS BORN IN 1936 IN ITALY AND WORKED IN THE 60'S AT THE FACTORY WITH ANDY WARHOL AND HAD A VERY CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.

THEY PARTED COMPANY IN THE LATE 60'S BUT PSAIER CONTINUED TO PRODUCE WORK OF A SIMILAR THEME PROLIFICALY UNTIL 2004 WHEN HIS REMOTE BEACH HOUSE WAS SWEPT AWAY BY THE TSUNAMI AND HIS BODY WAS NEVER FOUND.
