Vida FAQ'sQ: Can I pay over the phone?
A: We do accept credit card payments on 01253 720200 from Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm. This will often speed up the transaction process allowing a quicker delivery of your product, as we can process orders more promptly this way. No bank details of yours are kept at any point when taking payment. They are simply inputted into the payment machine and processed at the time of the call.
Q: How reliable is the delivery service?
A: At Vida, given the nature of our products we feel there is a great importance in providing a fast and reliable delivery service. We know that any delay in the products delivery will only set the customer back in achieving their domestic goals. We therefore ensure that we use a service which is much closer to the customer, and much closer to ourselves as a supplier. The couriers used provide us with a personal account manager which ensures that should any problems occur, they are identified within the first 24 hours, and therefore resolved more promptly. The delivery service also gives us a tracking facility and ensures our goods are insured to values that far exceed their price.
Q: What if I have not received my product in the specified time limit?
A: If by chance you have not received your item within the time we specify please contact us straight away, either by phone or email. This will enable us to chase the courier straight away to find out the reasoning behind the delayed delivery, and to arrange re-delivery as soon as possible.
Q: Can I collect my item once I have purchased it?
A: We would advise that before collecting an item you contact us in advance to arrange this either by phone on 01253 720200 or by email. This is just to confirm the item is ready to collect and to ensure that a member of staff is available to handle your enquiry when you arrive.
Q: Can I combine postage when I buy more than one item?
A: Certainly, If you are choosing to buy more than one item from our store then in most scenarios we can combine postage for extra products. Fragile and larger products may not allow this but it is always worth contacting us to check, as every situation is different. If you are opting to combine postage then we would advise you either contact us in advance to arrange this, or alternately follow the guidance below:
Step 1: Commit to purchase all the products you require on eBay separately, but DO NOT pay straight away
Step 2: Request an invoice from the seller, at which point we can combine the purchases and discount the postage
Step 3: Check the revised invoice and if all is ok pay for the product to complete the purchase

Shipping Standard Items
Any goods under 25kg
We endeavour to send out all goods within 48 hours of payment being received, this is usually within 24 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays)
Goods are delivered by courier or Royal Mail to your stated postal address and will require a signature to accept delivery.
If you require delivery to a different address, i.e. work, or on a specific day, please email us before we dispatch the goods.
We are unable to change the delivery address after the goods have been dispatched.
The couriers will attempt delivery once. If no one is available to sign for the goods, a card will be left for you to contact the couriers to collect from the local depot. The couriers may attempt to deliver the following day, but they do not guarantee this second attempt.
If the goods are taken to the local depot to await your collection, they will be held there for 5 days.
If you have not arranged collection after this time your goods will be returned to VIDA along with a return delivery charge of £14.95 and the purchaser must meet this charge.
Goods can be delivered to the following countries:
Zone A: Mainland UK (includes Post Codes AB10, 11, 12, 15 & 16, 24 & 25)
Delivery Time: 1 Working Day
Zone B: Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland (additional surcharge required)
Postcodes included: KW, IV, PH, PA, AB
Delivery Time: 2-3 Working Days
Please note that we can send to Southern Ireland and Off-Shore Islands however this will come at an increased cost and you must contact us in advance on 01253 720200 or email, to arrange this.
Please ensure when you make your purchase that you select the correct Zonal postage rate as products can not be dispatched until correct payment has been received.

Fragile Items
e.g. Shower Enclosures, Pottery, Vases etc
Fragile items require further care in their transportation from ourselves to the customer. Standard Courier services will NOT insure fragile items that may contain materials such as glass or porcelain, so for products of this nature we use an alternate service.
The courier service used specialises in the transportation and delivery of fragile equipment.
Once your payment has been received we will pass on your details to the courier company who then contact yourself to arrange delivery, so it is essential that you provide a phone number to us.
When the courier contacts you they will advise that there must be one able bodied individual at the recipients address to help receive your item.
They will then specify a delivery date agreed by yourself usually within a week of their phone call.
The whole process should take no longer than 10 working days, and you can always contact us on 01253 720200 if you have any queries throughout

Larger Items - Items Exceeding 30kg in Weight
e.g. Garden Sheds, Wardrobes, Swimming Pools etc
Items in this category can not be shipped out using a standard courier service as they exceed the maximum suggested weight for manual handling by an individual. We therefore send these items out using either a pallet delivery service or once again using a specialist service.
These items may require an able bodied individual at the recipients address to help receive the item.
Again this service may take longer than the standard service, however should take no longer than 7 working days.

CollectionsOnce you have finished shopping in our eBay shop, your goods can be collected from our showroom based at Genesis, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, FY8 1SZ.
Please email in advance if this is an option you may consider.
A collection surcharge may apply to some items so please see the individual listing before you purchase or bid, if you intend to collect your item.

Please note on collection, if any additional items are required, we can only offer the warehouse price which is the "Buy It Now" price + collection fee advertised on eBay.
Returns PolicyAll items that are received by courier or any other delivery service MUST be checked on delivery.
Any imperfections to packaging must be noted on the Proof of Delivery before you sign for the goods. This ensures that both yourselves and Vida are covered should there be any damage to the product inside.
Please feel obliged to note anything on the packaging that you are not fully comfortable with. If we can identify the problems at the outset we can rectify these problems promptly.
If this is not reported and it proves to be a courier fault it will be very difficult to prove that the damage has not occurred after delivery, so we would rather you were covered throughout.
In accordance with Consumer Protection legislation we do allow for a ‘7 day cooling off period’ in which products can be checked in more depth however we would advise to report any problems at your earliest convenience, so the matter can be rectified promptly.
Please Note that we will not be liable for any fitting costs of the products OR consequential costs, should the product need replacing at any point for whatever reason. Any products that are faulty or of unsatisfactory condition will be replaced or a REFUND will be granted for the products cost and its delivery.
Please note that any products that you have purchased in error, or have decided within the ‘cooling off period’ that you do not wish to keep, can be returned to us and we will refund you for these providing the product and its packaging is in a condition suitable for re-sale. This will impose a re-stocking charge of 25% which would be deducted from any refund granted, and we would not be liable for any postal or packing charges incurred in having the product returned to us.
If the product however has a manufacturing fault or has been damaged in transit, then you would not be liable for any costs incurred in providing a suitable replacement, however for items damaged in transit it is essential that this is reported on the Proof of Delivery as stated above.
