2001 Piaggio Ape, I purchased with the full intention of a summer restoration job and find that I just dont have the time avaiable.

She has been stood for a couple of years,never registed for the road but used to sell fresh coffee from the back, and has only recorded 19 miles that I believe is correct

She starts first time and drives, albeit has a need for some gear change cables,as i believe one is solid and doesnt allow us to move out of 1st gear. I am told it was in good running order before it was parked up.She also needs a key barrell as it is wired into the horn button that is now used as a starter button and the horn is disconected.It does however allow us to select reverse and works well in it.The battery is under the seat but we need to jump start with a slave battery.

The body work is slightly damaged at the rear of the van and the rear door has come away at the hinges. The wing mirror for the offside, is in the cab and requires fixing, overall there are a few minor rust spots but general condition is good.

She would be ideal for somone to restore as a coffee machine salesvan as she once was, or an advertising mascot for the front of a car garage.
