About this charity:
Provide employment to previously long-term unemployed people, reduce the impact of landfill sites by recycling domestic appliances for resale to the public at affordable prices following strict safety testing.

 All products sold by Renew are direct returns from Philips. As manufacturers, they do not have grading facilities and therefore, as a distributor, we grade them according to condition.  All products are fully tested, refurbished and classified as `graded’ or `reworked’.  Graded/ reworked items are approximately 50% less than purchasing new from the high street.  

GRADED:
The products classified as graded are `as new’ and supplied with a six month guarantee. An item can be Graded due to any of the following : discontinued / surplus stock, ex display / ex demo, slight cosmetic blemish, damaged packaging, undelivered stock, acc variation etc.

REWORKED:
These items are manufacturer returns which are tested and are in good working order. They may have some signs of use or have been repaired but are also sold with a six month guarantee. The condition can vary however, although, we at Renew North East will NOT sell any product to the public if it does not meet our exceptionally high standards.
