This auction is for a PHOTOSYNTHESIS APPARATUS FOR MEASURING/ANALIZING GAS GIVEN OFF BY PLANTS. TWO SYRINGES CONNECT TO A COLLECTING TUBE VIA A 3-WAY TAP. GAS IS DRAWN FROM ONE SYRINGE AND COLLECTED IN THE OTHER. ALL MOUNTED ON A BACKBOARD.

Supplied with a full instruction booklet.  Supplied in its own cardboard box.

The apparatus is designed for the estimation of the rate of photosynthesis in terms of the rate of evolution of gas by an aquatic plant. ELODEA SP or any other narrow stemmed, multi leaved aquatic plant can be used.

The variation of rate of photosynthesis with light intensity, temperature and carbon dioxide concentration can be demostrated.
