The PFLEUGER Echelon baitcaster reel is packed with the latest technology available today! Manufactured by Shakespeare one of the most popular fishing tackle retailers in the world today.

You are bidding on a brand new, US Import, RED   PFLEUGER Echelon High Speed baitcaster reel.  It is one of the finest low profile reels on the market today.

This beauty has a one piece  graphite reinforced frame and side plates  to maintain rigidity and  boasts a  5 double shielded stainless steel ball bearing system (4 ball/1 roller).It also has an ultra light vented and anodised  aluminium  spool with holes for reduced spool weight and increased casting distance.

 The Titanium line guides combine to make the Echelon   one of the smoothest casting reels available.The level wind guide places line evenly on the spool using back and forth motion, as the line is cranked. The guide is in constant contact with the line and the titanium guides keep friction to an absolute minimum.

The casting distance and accuracy are further enhanced with a state-of-the-art 5 pin, fully adjustable  centrifugal brake system. Backward movement of the spool and reel handle on the hook set has been virtually eliminated with the unlimited anti reverse system. A cast control knob is located on the handle side of the reel under the star drag. This enables the correct amount of friction to be applied on the spool shaft to prevent line backlash. By turning the knob clockwise it reduces the casting distance and anti clockwise lengthens it. The multi disc main gear applied star drag system has been designed to provide smooth, dependable performance at any drag setting.This item also boasts a flipping switch!.  FISH BEWARE!!!
