PEWTER SCOTTISH QUAICH "SCOTTISH PIPER"

 

"Quaich" is an old Scottish drinking cup.  A Quaich dates back hundreds of years and was carried by most men, to allow them to scoop water from rivers, streams or burns.  

They were used for a welcoming drink and also a farewell drink.

They are often used as celebratory gifts now.

This quaich has Celtic handles and a Celtic ring encompassing the  quaich.

It has a Scottish Piper on the base saying: "Scottish Piper", Pewter, Made in UK.

Thisitem is not new it has slight scratching on the inner section and a slight mark on the base,but otherwise is in good condition and looks very attractive.

The measurement is approximatley 7/1'2 inches across
