PEUGEOT 306 D TURBO,SPARES/REPAIR 93k STILL A RUNNER!

Peugeot 306 D Turbo Diablo Red.

93,900 miles, MOT  - March 2010 & TAX - January 2010.

Firstly the good:

• 2 new tyres on the front (cooper tyres) under warranty for accidental damage. Fitted on 05/08/2009
• 2 firestone tyres on the back with plenty of tread on them.
• 17/08/2007 New Radiator.
• 03/04/2008 New Starter Motor
• 30/01/2009 New Alternator Tensioner Pully
• March 2009 New Rear Silencer Exhaust Part.
• Body work in Very good condition, slight wearing of paint on front bumper as seen in pic.
• A few stone chips but as you would expect on any car really.
• Interior in excellent condition, a 5p size hole on drivers seat but nothing major.
• Kenwood CD Player.
• VERY LOW MILEAGE FOR A CAR OF THIS AGE.
• VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER, MY PRIDE AND JOY!!

The not so good!

A Couple of months ago I noticed the car was using quite a bit of water, I had it checked and they couldn't find anything because it was not leaking anywhere. So I carried on using it with no other mechanical signs of failure. Recently, there has been a browny colour spray near the water bottle. Again I had this checked and nothing was found. I have driven the car on long and short journeys since this problem and it hasn't missed a beat. But there is clearly an issue, I got a second opinion and it could be a head gasket problem but I don't know. The oil is CLEAR, the car is NOT over-heating and other than the water it is running absolutely fine.

So, I cannot afford to keep paying people to look at it. If someone wants to take it on and try and fix the water issue then get bidding. Or if you want the car as a project for parts etc then also get bidding!!!

It has been so reliable with me and I hope someone can give it a good home and rectify the problem and I am sure she will go on for years!
