Window regulators are very prone to failure.
In the majority of cases this is simply due to a wire on the mechanism rusting through and breaking.
Beware - replacement units cost a fortune.. often around £200, and that's only the part!
Second hand replacements are difficult to come by and are often close to failing in any case.
Luckily the other parts of the original window regulators and the motors rarely fail and the original units are generally far better quality than cheap aftermarket replacements.
One solution is to replace the wires using this kit.
Finding the right wire is difficult - finding suitable stop ends is nearly impossible. Both are included in this kit.
The stop ends are the correct size to fit the slots that both ends of the wires locate into on the mechanism. Simply fix the stop ends to the wires using the special fast setting adhesive now included with this kit for a perfect repair.
Includes illustrated "How To" guides making it easy to repair your regulator, even for the DIY novice.
The wire supplied is high quality stainless steel to help prevent a repeat of the original problem.
