This is an original Pentax PH-RBC67 lens hood, to fit the SMC Pentax FA 45mm f/2.8 wide angle lens for 645 SLR cameras.

A lens hood provides shading for the front element of your lens, excluding extraneous light which can cause unwanted reflections, flare and loss of contrast. For the best results, a hood designed for the correct angle of view should be used, and this one is petal shaped to provide the best possible shading.

The hood is lightweight at only around 40g, and made from a plastic material with a matt black finish inside, and Pentax logo outside. It mounts onto the bayonet fitting on the front of the lens, and can be reversed for storage.
