After discussing this ongoing problem with E bay it has been agreed that Any items that are returned to this company having had a Royal mail “while you were out card “ and then not collecting the item WILL be recharged recorded delivery costs a second time for the item to be resent as this is obviously not the fault of this company if the item has not been picked up by the buyer. And any argument over whether the buyer had or did not have a “while you were out card”  through the door is an argument the buyer must take up with the royal mail directly as we do not control the Royal Mail and are merely a sender not a carrier or postal company and it is our opinion that Royal Mail/ Postmen are not liars and do not say they have left a card if they have not.

 

Geography of the parcel office in relation to your address versus going to work / depot closure times is no excuse for not having the item picked up.
